AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE HONG KONG SPECIAL ADMINISTRATIVE REGION OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA ON MUTUAL EXEMPTION OF VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR NATIONALS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION AND PERMANENT RESIDENTS OF THE HONG KONG SPECIAL ADMINISTRATIVE REGION OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA
(Beijing, 23 April, 2009)

The Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China duly authorized by the Central People's Government of the People's Republic of China to conclude this Agreement, hereinafter referred to as "the Contracting Parties",

Guided by desire to strengthen friendly relations and cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China,

Willing to ease travel requirements for nationals of the Russian Federation and permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China,

Have agreed as follows:

Done at Beijing on 23 April 2009 in duplicate in the Russian and English languages, both texts being equally authentic.
