Article 8 Security features and technical specifications of the local border traffic permit

1. The security features and technical specifications of the local border traffic permit shall comply with the relevant provisions of Council Regulation (EC) No 1030/2002 of 13 June 2002 laying down a uniform format for residence permits for third-country nationals(14).

2. Member States shall forward to the Commission and to the other Member States a specimen of the local border traffic permit drawn up in accordance with paragraph 1.
