Article 10
Surrender of Property
1. To the extent permitted under the laws of the Requested Party and subject to the rights of third parties, which shall be duly respected, all property found in the territory of the Requested Party that has been acquired as a result of the offence or may be required as evidence shall, if extradition is granted and the Requesting Party so requests, be surrendered.
2. Subject to Paragraph 1 of this Article, the abovementioned property shall be surrendered to the Requesting Party on its request, even if the extradition cannot be carried out due to death or escape of the person whose extradition is requested or for other reasons.
3. Where the law of the Requested Party or the rights of third parties so require, any property so surrendered under the Paragraph 1 of this Article shall be returned to the Requested Party free of charge on its request.
4. The Requested Party may suspend the handing over of property mentioned in Paragraph 1 of this Article if it is required in connection with another criminal proceeding.
