Article 1

For the purposes of this Protocol:

1. "Convention" means the text of the Athens Convention relating to the Carriage of Passengers and their Luggage by Sea, 1974.

2. "Organization" means the International Maritime Organization.

3. "Secretary-General" means the Secretary-General of the Organization.
