Protocol between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam on Supporting the Production of Motor Transport Vehicles in the Territory of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam (Moscow, 21 March, 2016)

The Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, hereinafter referred to individually as a "Party" and collectively as the "Parties";

Preserving adherence to strengthening cooperation between the Russian Federation (Russia) and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam (Viet Nam);

Implementing Article 1.6 of the Free Trade Agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and its Member States, of the one part, and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, of the other part (the EAEU-VN FTA), signed on 29th May, 2015, regarding the support of priority investment projects;

Reaffirming the respective rights and obligations of Russia and Viet Nam under the Marrakesh Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organization on 15th April, 1994, and other existing international agreements to which both Russia and Viet Nam are parties;

With a view to long-term and mutually beneficial development of industries of both countries;

have agreed as follows:
