Article 5 Obligation to provide information

1. Any sentenced person, to whom this Agreement may be applied, shall be informed by the sentencing Party of the provisions of this Agreement, as well as of legal consequences of transfer.

2. If the sentenced person applies to the sentencing Party for his/her transfer, that Party shall promptly inform the administering Party upon receipt of the sentenced person's application.

3. The sentenced person shall be informed in writing of any action and any decision taken by either Party on application for transfer.
