AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE YEMEN REPUBLIC ON PROMOTION AND PROTECTION OF CAPITAL INVESTMENTS
(Moscow, December 17, 2002)

The Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Yemen Republic, hereinafter referred to as "the Contracting Parties",

Desiring to create favourable conditions for capital investment by investors of one Contracting Party in the territory of the other Contracting Party,

Recognising that the encouragement and reciprocal protection of capital investments on the basis of this Agreement will stimulate capital inflow and be conducive to the development of mutually beneficial economic, trade, scientific and technical cooperation,

Have agreed as follows:

Concluded in Moscow on December 17, 2002 in two copies, each in Russian and English and each text having equal force.
